To get started, we will need your document in an MS-Word, Open Office, or Google Document. Organize the structure of your document (headings and subheadings) using styles. Don’t forget to provide us with an About the Author page, Acknowledgements, and a blurb for the cover.

Books with many images require the careful transfer of easily identified files that are keyed to document placement. We will have you upload them to the cloud.

We work with authors to pick appropriate fonts and are happy to add specialty fonts for individual projects. We will help you choose images from image services, such as Shutterstock, if you don’t own your own. We will help you pick a book size and set up your account with a printer.

Our family started self-publishing in 2012. The books grew in number until it became ridiculous to not have a website, so we built one. This is the next stage in our evolution, providing the same kind of help to the outside world that we provided to each other. We can help you get through the challenges of publication. Years ago, we published a newspaper and know how to work with printing companies. We use Adobe InDesign to turn out professional-quality files. We follow IBPA publishing standards. We design covers. And we have a pack of ISBNs that will allow you to have options when it comes to choosing a printing company. Your book will become a reality!
