Sun, Wind, and Sky Reclaim All Things

We visited the old cemetery that Audrie wrote about in her book A Place of Wind and Sky.  I took some photos of all the scattered wooden crosses in the oldest part of the cemetery. I would like to go back someday. The section of babies’ graves is quite picturesque.

Dusty Shelves

We live in the country. It’s a dusty world. We read books. Our shelves are dusty. Would you rather do some housekeeping or write a book?
Housekeeping can become a resistance to creating art. If one lives a little life, one has room for mops, rags, and furniture polish. A big life, however, leaves only room for dust. It is a small thing.
